the first one.

Hi there.

I’ve created this blog to document my fight towards losing ohhh about 35 pounds through healthy food and lots of exercise. I hope that writing here will help me hold myself accountable and even inspire me to be consistent in my habits (which has always been my downfall).

I’m going to write my current weight and height here, but I’ll only be weighing myself once a week from now on (on Fridays).

Current weight: 195 (the most I’ve weight in at least 5 years! argh!)

Current height: 5′ 7″

Current mood: annoyed

Goal weight: 160 (I look good at this weight, if I remember correctly)

I’ll be doing Weightwatchers (it’s worked before), walking daily, and doing kickboxing at least twice a week. I’ve quit smoking already (hooray!) and that’s going well, so I’m not worried about not being able to breath anymore.

Today I walked for a little over 2 hours… all the way down to Town Lake, around on my usual route, and back home again. And while it was a long walk, I never felt bored or too tired- my ipod definitely helped.

It wasn’t a good idea to get a Trio Sampler from Jack in the Box on the way home, though. I kept on thinking about cooking when I got home and I really didn’t want to. Hopefully my long walk canceled out most of the calories from the grossness.

But it wasn’t even worth it. Fried foods are overrated. I’m not doing that again.
